Braco Bowling Club

Welcome to Braco Bowling Club
Braco Bowling Club is located in the village of Braco in scenic rural Perthshire. The Club was established in 1901 on land gifted by Dame Mary Renny Watson on behalf of her late husband, Sir William Renny Watson who was the owner of Braco Castle. The land was gifted to form a Bowling Green to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria.

The Club badge was designed to show the hills surrounding Braco, the United Free Church Clock Tower as a village landmark and the Bowling Green.

We are located in Feddal Road, Braco, and have good parking facilities and easy, disabled access to our homely and friendly clubhouse.

Bowling is a great way to meet new friends` You can start as young as 10, and the sport caters for both young and old. You do not need to be superfit to play, and you should find that it is extremely enjoyable to take part.
We take part in a range of both friendly and competitive bowling events and our Club is a member of the West Perthshire Bowling Association which comprises of seven clubs in the league, with games played mainly on a Saturday.

We also play a number of friendly games during the season, with other clubs from Perthshire and also Stirling district`

Our internal "club matches" are most enjoyable, the banter is normally good humoured and our "apres bowls" afterwards in our clubhouse goes towards rounding off a pleasant time.
The outdoor season starts in mid April and ends mid September. However, dont despair. Over the winter months our members play indoor bowls against each other in our well adapted, cosy clubhouse.
